I was an attorney and sports agent for ten years before becoming a full-time writer and speaker. I have a BA in English as well as a Juris Doctor and served as the Managing Editor of the Oklahoma City University Law Review. I have written, published, and/or edited articles and books on numerous subjects and have delivered award-winning service to clients around the globe.
Developing as a writer is important, and I have attended writing seminars around the world to hone my skills. These include John Truby's Anatomy of Story Master Class (New York City) and University of Oxford's Creative Writing Summer School (Advanced-Level), where I studied Biography & Autobiography and Advanced Critical Reading at Exeter College.
I am a former member of Toastmasters International and have received my Advanced Communicator Bronze Certificate and my Competent Leader Certificate. In my spare time, I study Taekwondo (black belt, 4th Dan) and am a four-time state champion. I am also a PADI Rescue Diver and a long-distance bike rider.
